Apparently, Instagram is about to release a new feature called Regram that will allow you to repost content of other users easily. The Regram function will work in a similar way as Twitter Retweet works. Whenever someone of your followers “regrams” your content, you will get notification and be able to see it on its timeline. Good thing is, next to “regrammed post” oringinal poster will be mentioned so when someone regrams your content your profile will get more exposure and reach new users – and that means, potential new followers.
Until now, if you wanted to share someones post, you would have to save it first or take screenshot of it and upload it to your profile. In some cases, this could cause you troubles, like in case when original poster sees that you have “stolen” his post and reports you to Instagram.
From now on, you will be able to repost (regram) good posts without asking for permission from user and without too much work included.
Regram button will be located next to Send button below the post.
For now, this feature is available for small number of Instagram users. As with all new features, they will first test it and see how users react and then hopefully release it for everyone else.
Instagram Friends List – Groups
Another feature that is in testing phase is Instagram closes friends list. It works in a way that you create group and add your friends or people that you want to share exclusive content with and whenever you post there, they will get notification. As you know, now you have to select users manually each time when you want to send post to group of people, but with this new feature, that won’t be necessary.
According to rumours, they will also introduce GIF posting, sharing your posts in What’sUp application and ability to Archive your stories.
It was about time to make some changes on this fastest growing social network, don’t you think so?
